Welcome in Porquerolles !

The European School of Typology TypoLing 2016 will take place on the beautiful island of Porquerolles, one of the three islands (with Port Cros and the island of Levant) located off the south of Hyères. It is a 10 minutes'  boat ride from the Giens peninsula.

The venue at the IGESA centre is located in the centre of Porquerolles village, a 5 mns' walk from the harbour and to the beaches.

The island is an environmentally protected island.

It is two-sided : to the south, the coastline is somewhat wilder with rocky bluffs and small coves. To the north, the coastline is gentler with white sand beaches and azure, crystal clear sea. The centre of the island has cultivated lands (vineyards and orchards), where the botanical conservatory has a collection of protected vegetal species.

Porquerolles can be visited on foot or by bike VTT on its many paths maintained by the Port-Cros National park.

Participants will be free from Saturday 10 noon to Monday 12 morning.
A visit to the PERZINSKY vineyard will be organised, on Saturday 10 late afternoon.

Week 2 courses end on 
Friday September 16, 17h45.

 You can then take advantage of the various activities available on the island, or just hike on the many paths of the island.
